Deception: I Can Eat Pork, Shrimp, Rabbit or Whatever Meat I Want!
God specifies what we are to eat or not, but we have made our own rules and have allowed pig, shrimp, and lobster, and crab to come in our homes and on our plates at restaurants. Shrimp, lobster, crab are "cleaners of the sea" and eat corpses, rot, or anything else available. The same is true with the pig they eat rot. Therefore, God instructs you not to eat these type meats.
Below are some Bible verses that show the deceitfulness of these wrongful sins:
Deuteronomy 14:3, "Do not eat any detestable thing."
Deuteronomy 14:7, " However, of those that chew the cud or that have a divided hoof you may not eat the camel, the rabbit or the hyrax. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you."
Deuteronomy 14:8, " The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses."
Deuteronomy 14:10, " But anything that does not have fins and scales you may not eat; for you it is unclean."
Deuteronomy 14:12-18, "But these you may not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture, the red kite, the black kite, any kind of falcon, any kind of raven, the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk, the little owl, the great owl, the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey, the cormorant, the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat."
Deuteronomy 14:19, "All flying insects are unclean to you; do not eat them."
Deuteronomy 14: 21, " Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to the foreigner residing in any of your towns, and they may eat it, or you may sell it to any other foreigner. But you are a people holy to the LORD your God.
Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk."
Leviticus 17:13-14, "' Any Israelite or any foreigner residing among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth, because the life of every creature is its blood.' That is why I have said to the Israelites, 'You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.'"
Genesis 9:4, “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it."
